Spa Policies

We reserve the right to refuse or terminate any appointment for inappropriate behavior. If an appointment is terminated due to lewd or other inappropriate behavior, the full amount of the service will be charged. If a session is terminated due to inappropriate behavior, we reserve the right of refusal for any and all future appointments.  


Cancellation Policy

Cancellations require 24 hour notification.  If notification is not received in a timely manner, a cancellation fee will be charged.

First Spa Visit

Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your first time visiting the facility. This will ensure time for filling out the health form & consultation with the therapist. If you are planning on taking a steam shower, please allow for 20 minutes. 

Returning Guests

For returning guests, please arrive 15 minutes in advance prior to your first treatment of the day if you are planning on taking a steam shower.  If you are not taking a steam shower, please arrive 5 minutes prior to your first treatment of the day.

Late Policy

Your promptness is appreciated. Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your first scheduled treatment of the day if taking a steam shower. If you are late, we will try to accommodate your full treatment time; however, if scheduling conflicts arise, this time may be deducted from your overall spa treatments.

Gratuities

Gratuities are left to the discretion of our guests and are not included in the cost of services or gift certificates.  It is customary to provide 15% to 20% gratuity for all spa services.

Spa Courtesy

In order to maintain a quiet and serene environment, cell phones and other electronic devices should be in the silent mode.

Lost or Stolen Items

For your protection, we cannot be responsible for loss or damage to personal articles.  We request that you leave all jewelry & valuables at home.

Gift Cards

Gift cards expire two years after initial issue date. 

We are not responsible for lost or stolen gift cards. For your safety, gift cards are NON-TRANSFERRABLE and are only valid for the person whose name appears on the card or is registered in our gift card system. Gift cards can not be used towards gratuities and they are NOT redeemable or returnable for any cash value or products purchase.  Any balances will be put back onto the gift card for future services.

Massage Advantage

Because we understand that you have several facilities to choose from for your massage needs, we wanted to let you know how much we appreciate your patronage.  Additionally, we wanted to bring to your attention some key points that you may not be aware of that differentiate Paradiso massages from some of our competitors and massage franchises. 

  • All of our published prices INCLUDE the 7% required state tax.  Most of our local competitors publish their prices without the tax included. 
  • Our 1 hour massages are 60 minutes of ACTUAL massage time.  Almost all of our competitors offer 1 hour sessions which are comprised of 50 minutes of massage time and 10 minutes for "consultation and dressing".
  • We never book more than 5 massages a day (for an 8 hour day) for any one massage therapist and we always allow at minimum 15 - 30 minutes between massages.   This gives the therapist time to rest and recharge for the next massage.  All of the resort, franchise and larger spas book their therapists back-to-back with NO added downtime in between sessions.  It is not uncommon for a massage therapist to have 7 - 8 massages booked in one day in these facilities.  You have to ask yourself..."Would I want to be the 8th massage on that day?"
  • All of our massage therapists are certified by the State of New Jersey to perform massage services and have (at a minimum) completed at least 600 hours of clinical time.
  • Complimentary steam showers are available prior to massage services.
  • We have multiple treatment rooms and therapists in order to accommodate more than one massage at a time.
  • We use only the highest quality massage cream to eliminate that "oily" feel after your massage.
  • We accept SpaFinder Gift Cards as payment for services.
  • We have heated massage tables and massage cream for additional comfort during the fall and winter months.
  • We offer complimentary robes and slippers to massage guests as well as downtime in our relaxation room.​
